कञ्चनपुर जिल्ला सदरमुकाम देखि दक्षिणी पूर्वी भेकमा रहेको पुनर्वास नगरपालिका वडा नं. ५ मा अवस्थित श्री गौरीशङ्कर मा.वि, भानुवस्ती वि.सं २०२९ सालमा प्राथमिक तह कक्षा १-३ बाट स्थापना भइ निम्न माध्यमिक तह २०३३ सालमा, माध्यमिक तह २०५७ सालमा, माध्यमिक तह ११-१२ को कक्षा २०६७ साल बाट सञ्चालनमा आएको हो।यस विद्यालयले स्थापनाकाल देखि यस भेकका जनताहरुमा निरन्तर रुपमा शैक्षिक सेवा प्रदान गर्दै आइरहेको छ । शिक्षा सबैका लागी र सधैंका लागी अपरिहार्य तत्व हो । शिक्षा सबैको सरोकारको विषय पनि हो।यस अर्थमा सम्बन्धित सरोकारवालाहरुले आ-आफ्नो भुमिका निर्वाह गर्नु आवश्यक छ।विद्यालयलाई बालमैत्री,बालकेन्द्रित तथायुग सुहाउँदो ब्यवहारिक, प्रविधिमैत्री शैक्षिक संस्था बनाउनु आजको आवश्यकता हो।यसैले यस क्षेत्रका जनताको जीवन प्रणाली संग जोडिएको ब्यवहारिक प्राविधिक शिक्षा कृषिवालिविज्ञान राष्ट्रपति शैक्षिक सुधार कार्यक्रम अन्तर्गत २०७९ सालमा प्राप्तभई हाल प्राविधिक धार तर्फ कक्षा ९-१२ सञ्चालन भईरहेको छ ।यसरी यस विद्यालयमा साधारण र प्राविधिक धार दुवै सञ्चालनमा रहेका छन् ।साधारण तर्फ कक्षा १-१२ र प्राविधिक तर्फ कक्षा ९-१२ सञ्चालनमा रहेको छ ।यस विद्यालयमा कुल ६०० जना विद्यार्थीहरु पठनपाठन गरिरहेका छन भने अधिकांस विद्यार्थीका आमा बुवाको आर्थिक अवस्था कमजोर रहेकाकारण भारतमा मजदुरी गरि घर खर्च चलाउनु पर्ने वाध्यता छ ।प्राविधिक धार तर्फको जनचाहनालाई मध्यनजर गर्दै टाढा जान नसक्ने विद्यार्थीहरुका लागि घर नजिकै सर्वसुलभ तरिकाबाट रोजगारमूलक प्राविधिक शिक्षा प्रदान गर्ने यस विद्यालयकोअभिप्राय हो ।यस विद्यालयमा पढने विद्यार्थीहरुका लागि आकर्षक,शान्त वातावरणमा पठनपाठन हुने,दक्ष तथा अनुभवी शिक्षकहरु द्धारा अध्यापन गराइने र विद्यार्थी तथा शिक्षकहरु बीच सुमधुर सम्वन्ध स्थापना गरि वालमैत्री वातावरण कायम गरिने, प्रशस्त मात्रामा प्रयोगात्मक अभ्यास हुने भएकाले यस श्री गौरीशङ्कर मा.वि.मा भर्नाहुन सरोकारवाला सम्पूर्णमा हार्दिक अनुरोध गर्दछु ।
Shree Gaurishankar Secondary School, located in Bhanubasti, Ward No. 5 of Punarwas Municipality in the southeastern region of Kanchanpur district, was established in 2029 BS (1972 AD) as a primary school offering classes 1–3. It subsequently expanded by introducing the lower secondary level in 2033 BS (1976 AD), the secondary level in 2057 BS (2000 AD), and grades 11–12 (Higher Secondary level) starting in 2067 BS (2010 AD). Since its inception, the school has continuously provided educational services to the people of this region.
Education is an essential element for everyone, at all times, and is a matter of concern for all. In this regard, it is vital for all stakeholders to fulfill their respective roles. Today, the need of the hour is to transform the school into a child-friendly, child-centric, modern, practical, and technology-friendly educational institution. Reflecting the livelihood of the people in this area, practical technical education in Agricultural Science was introduced in 2079 BS under the President's Educational Reform Program, and technical classes from Grades 9 to 12 are currently operational.
Presently, both general and technical streams are conducted at the school: the general stream runs from Grades 1 to 12, while the technical stream runs from Grades 9 to 12. A total of 600 students are currently studying here. Due to the economically vulnerable background of most parents, many are compelled to work as laborers in India to sustain their household expenses. Keeping public aspiration in mind, our objective is to provide affordable, employment-oriented technical education right near home for students who cannot afford to travel far.
With an attractive and peaceful learning environment, instruction by skilled and experienced teachers, strong and harmonious student-teacher relationships, a child-friendly atmosphere, and ample practical training opportunities, I cordially invite all stakeholders to enroll their children at Shree Gaurishankar Secondary School.
